Happy Winter Solstice!

Today is the darkest day of the year, the REAL start of the New Year, in my opinion. Days are already getting longer, a bit of comfort for the cold weeks ahead.

December 20 to January 1st should just be an extend holiday for everyone, a time for celebrating, sleeping, and reflection. Some businesses already plan for empty offices starting next week. Why not do like the Pagans and make it official? A time of rest and introspection might just cut down on the depression and heart attacks that seem to spike this time every year.
