A hazy, sensual song that glides along with a sparse, blown-out beat and some funky bass riffs. The mood of the honey-voiced lead singer's words about loneliness and longing are matched by a single violin that drones in the background.
Comparisons to Portishead are appropriate here. It's not Soul per se, but a modern variation that nicely captures the essence of it by so-slightly distorting the music in a way that compliments the singer's state of mind.
